From september 2006 until september 2012 Beaver Projects was setting the stage for challenging contemporary. For the first 5 years located near the beach in Copenhagen S in the former domicile of Scandinavia´s largest porn publisher. The last year in Fredericiagade in Copenhagen K.
Beaver Projects was an international gallery working with emerging and more established artists. The artists represented by Beaver Projects worked within a variety of media, but had one thing in common: strong, distinct signatures, and a clever approach to art making.
Beaver Projects promoted the view that art should never be reduced to mere hype or fashion.
During the years Beaver Projects participated in several art fairs including The Armory Show, Art Forum Berlin, Market, Preview Berlin and Art Copenhagen.
Marie Dufresne, BA in Art History and MA in Visual Culture, was the director and owner of Beaver Projects.
